What to bring to practice

Every sport has its own tricks of the trade and ours is certainly no exception.

Goggles - unless you enjoy hearing your child crying all night long after practice about how much their eyes burn, swimmers should wear goggles.

Caps - all long hair swimmers will wear a swim cap at practice.  This is a must as many bad habits are created by having long hair in the way.  Swimmers wear caps at meets so they should wear them in practice.  We have team hats.....wear one!

Towel - no explanation needed, I hope!

Water Bottle - we often don't look at swimmers quite the way we do as we look at runners, but swimmers are sweating just like runners do.  Because we are in water, we often forget about that.  Hydration is very important for a swimmer.

Hat and Coat - when appropriate for weather condition to come and go from the pool, especially after practice.
